GCI and Old Stone Development Corp. purchased 18 acres near Route 495 in Westford, MA. Sasaki Associates designed two companion 83,000-square-foot, two-story buildings approached through a tree-lined allée.

Intel Corporation preleased the majority of the first building for its regional headquarters. Within six months, Digital Equipment Corporation preleased the entire second building as its North American manufacturing headquarters and took the balance of the first.

The completed project was sold to CIGNA Insurance for $16.9 million, the highest price per-square-foot at the time for any project on Route 495.
