Gillespie and Co., Inc. partnered with Suffolk Ventures and Franklin Realty Advisors to purchase the former Thom McAn shoe factory in Worcester, MA, located at the junction of Routes I-190 and I-290.
- The project: a 260,000-square-foot facility built in 1920, and partially converted in the 1960s to an office building
- While 70% occupied, the team re-skinned the building, restored original large window openings, and created exceptional offices
- The building was then leased in its entirety to premier tenants, including 110,000 square feet to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
